Eligibility Criteria for DPCC Posts
Applicants must be Indian nationals and ensure they meet the eligibility conditions before applying. Education, experience, and age requirements vary by post:
- Senior Environmental Engineer: Master’s in Engineering (Civil/Environment/Chemical/Electrical/Mechanical/ECE/Water Resources/Remote Sensing/GIS/Hydrology) with 10 years’ experience in pollution control. Max age: 56 years.
- Environmental Engineer: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering with 6–8 years’ experience depending on degree. Max age: 56 years.
- Assistant Environmental Engineer: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering; 2 years’ experience after degree (Master’s degree holders may apply without experience). Max age: 56 years.
- Senior Scientist L-I: Master’s in Science, 8 years’ experience. Max age: 56 years.
- Scientist-B: Master’s in Science, 3 years’ experience. Max age: 56 years.
- Scientific Assistant: Bachelor’s in Science, laboratory experience required.
- Senior Lab Assistant: 8 years of service in Pay Level-2 or equivalent.
- Assistant Law Officer: Bachelor’s in Law, 4 years’ legal experience.
- Legal Assistant: Degree in Law, 3 years’ service experience.
- Programmer: MCA/M.Sc (CS)/M.Tech (CA) or BE/B.Tech (CS/IT/CE) or equivalent, 2–6 years in EDP with programming experience.
